Absolute s@**!!!!

I was supposed to have a delivery today from 12-9 pm I have waited in all day ....firstly in rang at 1pm to ask if they could give me an idea as to when my delivery slot would be as I needed to pop out after confirming order number and 1st line of address I was told "oohhh that's fine if they miss you they'll come back tomorrow and it'll be the same delivery slot" ..so I didn't go out incase I missed it as an 18 hour wait seemed ridiculous for 5 mins round the shop plus I doubt my 17 month old daughter would enjoy being house bound for 2 days!!! At 20.30 with no delivery I ring customer service she asks for my address and order number as they did previously and tells me I wasn't in ...i replied that I have been in all day and can see all vehicles that approach the property therefore have not missed anyone, she then says what door number did you say you were number 2 , I replied yes ahhh well didn't have a number only a house name so the driver couldn't deliver, I then queried my earlier conversation to be told he had missed that and then questioned her blatant change of story in 2 seconds ... Me being out and a wrong address are two different things!!!! She then tells me it's out of her hands and I need to now contact the supplier and ask them to amend the address I then explain that it's an order from asda direct and they had actually split the order between yodel and Hermes who delivered they're order before 12pm but bad no problems finding my address and must have had the full address as they knocked on my front door plus as it was same order they would both have same details??? She couldn't answer, I asked to speak to her manager to be told I couldn't and she would request a callback to me!!!???? I'm livid asda are now closed so am unable to solve the problem until tomorrow but more than anything I know this is a yodel error as I had my washing machine delivered by them last year it was 4 days late, my TV also delivered through them was a week late and my daughters bed 2 days late all claiming error with my address, fair enough once maybe but four times when it comes from the local depot which is 10 minutes away and my neighbour uses yodel I'm afraid it's all a load of cods wallop ....these are an incompetent company with zero customer service and it's a wonder they are still trading....diabolical!!!!!!!!!

Fast but inter-company communication seems lacking.

First the positive: the estimated delivery was 24.4.14 so they got it delivered in plenty of time, just to the wrong address!
Through a mistake of my own I entered the wrong address for a parcel to be delivered. As soon as I realised I contacted Yodel's customer service via telephone in the afternoon of 22.4.14 as my parcel was already out to be delivered. After speaking to someone at around 14:45 they assured me that my correct address had been submitted to the relevant service centre and would be passed along to the driver.
At t 20:43 the tracking status claimed my parcel had been delivered. Not to me but to the address I tried to change it from. Apparently I had wanted to change it to that address the woman from Yodel told me when I called at 20:53. Funny that, when my address on tracking changed from the incorrect address, to the correct one, but it still ended up at the wrong address.
The lady on the telephone was very helpful at 20:53 and assured me it had been delivered to the house over the road from me so I collected it from him myself.
I would love to know why the address on the package had not changed and/or why the driver did not ask about a delivery for my surname.
I understand that I made a mistake but I did everything in my power to correct it, even contacting Tesco who then contacted Yodel with my correct address, in a reasonable time (4 hours before it was delivered) and I just feel that Yodel's inter-company communication was poor.
I've learnt my lesson and I can only hope Yodel's communication between themselves improves as inputting the incorrect address is an easy mistake to make on a drop-down list!

DISHONEST DISGRACEFUL STAY AWAY

Been waiting well over a week for delivery even though advisors say the delivery has been attempted to be made several times. My web tracker advices none of this. Even had phone call to say the courier was actually outside my home, im still waiting for him/her to deliver 6 hours later. Since placing order I put a notice on my front door (which still remains) with advice to give parcel to neighbour if im not home, the couriers claim not to have seen this A4 sized notice on their delivery attemps.

P.S. I had to rate this service with one star because it would not let me proceed with this review. If it was up to me there would be no star rating!!!

Experience YODEL for the fast and efficient way to better parcel deliveries

I found yodel a very good experience i had pleasure in receiveing e mails to let me know the parcel was on its way and then being able to track the parcel was excellent i could alter my appointments to be in when the parcel arrived .The delivery driver was pollite and efficient . Also the bag to wich the parcel was delivered was not ripped or bashed about i would certainley use yodel again and recommend them to family and friends.

Speedy and courteous!

I today received a parcel earlier than predicted by the supplier and irrespective of Easter holiday, very quickly and handed over by a charming driver, who not only addressed me by my name but also placed the parcel where I wanted it! Thank you, so nice to see a smiling delivery man ....

Less than honest service..

A parcel was delivered to an address that didn't exist. Three times I was told that someone would return my call and that didn't happen. They seem happy to tolerate the fact that an expensive item has gone missing. I would never use them

Reliable and well taken car of package!

I wouldn't choose anyone else other than yodel to delivery any package for me. Worth the services always.

They couldn't be bothered!

Ordered a parcel for next day delivery, waited around at home the whole next day and never saw them. Looked on the tracking website the next day and it said that they couldn't find anyone - at the exact time i was sat in the front room waiting. I live quite far out, it said i 'wasn't home' fairly close to knocking off time... my suspicions are they never bothered. I haven't even got a call card to show for it. Double checked the address and asked my (very few) neighbors and no one had had sight or sound of them. Still haven't got my parcel, 4 days after ordering. Rubbish.

Perfect!

A couple of years ago I had a parcel supposed to be delivered next day by Yodel and unfortunately it arrived late - How Things Have Changed!!! I have had several parcels since then that have been delivered exactly when they should have been including my last delivery on Saturday which was perfect.
Their on-line tracking service is great, I could follow collection right through to delivery every step of the way. I even got an email sent to me saying it had been left at my neighbour at No. 5 (as I had requested if I was out).They may have had problems a few years ago but since then my experiences with them have been smooth, efficent and very professional. I highly recommend this Company

awful. delivery guy scratched car trying then throw the parcel into garden

Our drive way just about fits out classic vw. By fits there is zero room I get in the car via rear. So imagine surprise when yodle try to squeeze down the side. After leaving a nice scratch from a zip or something then have thrown the package or something as now the package is in the garden about 20-30 ft away.

Disgusted

I ordered phone from Virgin on 09/04/14 and had e-mail confirming delivery on the 12th, it never arrived. Then told it would arrive on the 14th, tracking service noted it had been delivered at 13.48pm, it was never delivered to me!!!! I assumed it had been delivered to an address in Wilsden with a similar postcode to mine. Whoever accepted the parcel signed my name too. I've spent hourS on the phone since with Virgin and eventually spoke to an investigator at Yodel on the 17th. Apparently the driver Is going back to retrieve the parcel ( I won't hold my breath, I can't think he will have much success getting a phone back, especially when whoever has accepted the parcel knows it wasn't meant for them) . Yodel closed for Easter so situation still unresolved. I'm very disappointed with customer service both from Virgin and Yodel. Really don't know what to do next!!!!!!!!!

Driver and a Drunk smelly wife

My delivery from amazon last night made me sick... The driver was ok- he got out of the van at one stage. The wife(I am being polite) was a drunk smelly waste of space... He sat in the van.. She did the delivery... Never again. Do you vet these people?

Gypsies, tramps and thieves

This has got to be the worst parcel delivery company in the world. Constantly stealing & loosing parcels, they have been on bbc watchdog for such a poor service, tried telling me no one was in my open pub even though checking CCTV they never turned up! Driver just trying to get finished early! I needed this delivery for the bank holiday weekend. I have suggested one of the managers gets my parcel and drives it to me later today but that of course is impossible. I will now avoid shopping with companies that use yodel as I cannot rely on yodel and the parcel probably being stolen or lost, or their staff or just taking the I don't care attitude. Please anyone using this company be very aware that you may not receive your parcel.

Once again they have delivered far to soon , why complain I hear you say well I like to think that if you tell me a date that I can arrange to be there and organise myself. Not have it delivered four days early . Why can't they say we are close to your house look out your window .

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER! MY PARCEL HAS BEEN STOLEN

I made my order in Sports Direct through their web-site. I paid nearly £100 for my goods.
I received SMS from Yodel jn Saturday morning that they have my parcel and they will deliver this parcel in two working days.
In two hours I received next SMS that my parcel has been delivered to my neighbours and that I can find details in the card which the driver left in my door.
However I was at home whole day and nobody came. I did not receive any card.
My neighbours were out home whole weekend and they did not receive any parcel.
I said to Yodel immediately about their fault but already 9 days gone and I have nothing!
I paid money for this goods and Yodel get my parcel but I did not get anything.
So my parcel has been stolen.
I go to Police, Court, write to Ombundsmen and to FTO.
