Don't go there.

Bought a light grey sport top and leggings which left my dark coloured clothes underneath completely covered in light coloured fibres.I took them back and was told they were not faulty can't give you cash back.i consider these garments not fit for purpose, won't be going back.

Horrors!!!

I purchased a ball for my son but when I got home found the stitching was burst. I returned the ball hoping to get a refund, but nope! Called customer services only to be cheeked by some female by the name of AMY. AMY I would not give you a job with an automated service let alone customer services. She refused to give me her full name as according to her that was on a "need to know" basis. Top and bottom we were robbed! Disgusting customer services, and we are taking this to trading standards. I will NEVER use this shop again. And what is it they say....pay peanuts get.......

This Company is a LOAD of Bollocks!!!

Bought a pair of NIKE Trainers from The Fort Store in Birmingham on 16/04/2014. Took the shoes home tried walking in them inside the house and felt very uncomfortable and were hurting my feet after 5 minutes of wearing them. Took them back to the store on 17/04/2014 and they said to me that they could NOT Return or refund them as they were not Saleable anymore. I advised them that they were not worn outside and were perfectly re-sellable. Will NEVER AGAIN shop with them and advise everyone else to not shop there either!!!.

Poor service, wont be going back

We bought a pair of Nike Flex Experience Trainers, within two weeks they had spilt open at the toe (normal use i.e. running and a little football). Took them back just wanting a swap or credit note was met with a stubborn, intransigent manager who flatly refused to take them back stating they weren't used properly I said 'what do you mean sports'.
Apparently if they are used for anything other than the very specific sport they are designed for they will refuse to take them.
I believe most companies would have been reasonable and not quibbled, they may be legally correct but the shoes obviously have a quality issue and ultimately they have lost the custom of four sporty people. They also need to make the public aware of this policy. So be aware!

never able to find my size

Been there 5 times already and love the variation, but never found my size,..so I am not going back anymore seems like they don't like size 4. ''Lilly White'' in Picadilly Circus is so chaotic....you have to deal with size and everything else by your self,, unless you are lucky.

Refused to replace faulty goods - The Store Manager, 'Michael' is a liar. Mike Ashley you should be ashamed

Bought my son Adidas Nitrocharge 3 TFX FG football boots from the Silverburn store, Glasgow and within a short space of time the upper started to detach from the sole. I took them back with the receipt and asked for a replacement pair. The girl went away and spoke to the manager and came back stating: 'Sorry, can't do anything they have been played on grass' I asked to speak to the manager and he attended spouting the same story. I asked him what he meant and he told me that these boots were for artificial surfaces only, not grass and as such, my son had abused them.

In actual fact, the suffix 'FG' means 'Firm Ground' and on the Adidas web site states that they are recommended for use on firm natural ground, including grass. I then called Adidas who ridiculed the manger 'Michael' and suggested that as they had a lot of complaints about Sports Direct, I return the boots to them for a replacement, which I did. - Thanks Adidas.

I have since complained to Sports Direct Head Office without a response, but I will not give up on this. The local Trading Standards Office has agreed to pursue them for a breach of the Sale of Goods Act and I look forward to them backtracking before the small claims procedure commences.

Should have taken note of poor reviews

Ordered goods 3 weeks ago. No goods and as yet no refund. Told by courier that the package is " Lost " Poor replies to emails and thats when you actually get a reply. Last reply said they were investigating. Its not difficult--- I have paid for goods that I have not received and I want my money back so I can make my purchase elsewhere.

No customer service.

Ordered a few items from Sports Direct on Wednesday. I needed them for the weekend, so I paid for next day delivery. To make sure there would be someone to accept delivery, I arranged for them to be sent to my office building - someone is here all day long. At around 14:00 i receive a text saying "Sorry we missed you". They didn't miss me, there is no card, they simply attempted delivery to the wrong address. They'll try again tomorrow. And they'll get it wrong again tomorrow.

Went to their website to try and contact them - there is NO WAY to email them. If you call there is no way to speak to a real person.

Went the Sports Direct to inform them of the problem - there is NO WAY to call them, when I filled in the email form I got an automated response telling me that my order was on its way. It is not acceptable for a web retailer to make themselves completely inaccessible to their customers.

The very worst of the UK highstreet, how does it survive?

Just the worst shopping experience on the high street. The staff literally couldn't care less in any Sports Direct I've been in. The corporate attitude must be contagious. I honestly don't know how this store survives. We went in for trail running shoes and no one gave a damn about helping us. Across the road to Schuh and the experience couldn't have been more different. I decided once and for all yesterday I will never return to Sports Direct.

What an absolute JOKE!!!

What an absolute JOKE!!!

You should be embarrassed by the level of your customer services in this day and age! Truly unbelievable!

I am not willing to wait 3 months for 20+ items because 2 items are on pre order, and you are with holding shipping on the bulk of the order due to this..

Please also forward me details of your complaints procedure?

Absolute Rubbish! Rude staff!

A while ago, I went into the store for some trainers. I browsed for a while, and decided on the ones I wanted. They were a reasonable price, so I had a quick look to see if there were any others that caught my eye. Then I noticed the exact same trainers £5.00 cheaper in another section. I thought they might be slightly different, but according to the description they were the same and looked the same. They WERE the same. So I went in search of an assistant to tell them I wanted to try them on, providing they sold them at the lower price. Considering this was Saturday afternoon, there didn't seem to be any one about. Don't these shops have Saturday staff any more, or are they so obsessed with cost cutting, they don't employ anyone?

Anyway, I found this young girl and I asked her and she abruptly told me she was serving someone else and she would be over to me soon. I went back to the trainer section, but she didn't bother to come. I was getting impatient so I went round the shop trying to hunt someone, anyone down. Eventually, this young lad was standing there doing nothing, so I asked him. Again, I came up against a stone wall. He said he couldn't leave this section and would have to go back to the other end of the shop!

I grabbed the trainer off the shelf and marched up to the tills, where there were at least 5 staff. Got their priorities right then. Making sure they take the money.

I explained these trainers were on two different sections and listed as two different prices. This sour faced middle aged woman behind the till looked at me like I was making the whole thing up and I wasn't quite the full shilling. She scanned the trainer and informed me in a irritated tone they were listed at the higher price. I asked her to come with me and I would show them to her on the shelf. She said she couldn't leave the till.

I was just about the flounce out, when I thought I would give it one last shot. I wouldn't have bothered, but I really liked these trainers. I went back to the trainer section and the young girl from before said she had tried to find me but I'd disappeared. I reluctantly agreed to try them on and pointed out to her the price difference. She agreed they were at the lower price so I decided to have them.

When I got back to the till, the only available one was... you guessed it, sour face... I told her they were at the lower price and she said the ones I'd brought to her was a different shoe. ARRRGH.

Staff are rubbish.

Three times in a row wrong shoes size!

The story is how the website sent me wrong size three times in a row.

I was buying Yonex Badminton shoes, and I needed the size Euro 44.
Before I ordered shoes on website, sportsdirect.com gives list of sizes to transfer from Euro size to UK. According to the list Euro 44 is UK 10. So I ordered UK 10. When shoes came, the UK size is 10, but Euro size is 44,5, which not what I need. I contacted website's support service and required to pay for my delivery back to UK and exchange to right size, which should be UK 9.5. The service answered me that they cannot provide accurate sizes due to huge load of goods, and they are not going to pay my postage fees. Okey, still I need right size, so I payed postage fee of 79 DKK (I am from Denmark) and required for exchange for size UK 9.5.

In a week a brand new shoes came and again size is wrong, this time it is not UK 9.5, but UK 9.0, which is not what I need. I contacted support service and they told me that if received product is faulty they will pay delivery back. So I sent shoes back again, paid 88 DKK this time, and put postage receipt into the parcel. Yes, the website paid me back, but they paid on their own delivery cost standards, what is 5£, but it is only 44 DKK instead of my 88 DKK.

Third time shoes came in another week and guess what?! Again the size is wrong. Size what I required is UK 9.5, but again it is UK 9.0. So if I send shoes back again, I will lose another 44 DKK for delivery and another week of my life, and it is not guaranteed that this time right size will come.

Worst Customer Service I've Ever Experienced

I ordered products online one of which was a coat. when it arrived it didn't fit and I was witnessed at my office trying it on then re-packaging it and returning it to Sports Direct via Carrier. Sports direct then sent me back 2 blue polo shirts I have never ordered from them (this was my first ever order) and tried to say that I had not returned the coat and that they couldn't issue a refund for the wrong items returned. They have since ignored all my emails and I will now take them to small claims court to get my money back and report them to trading standards for breaches of the distance selling regulations. AVOID SPORTS DIRECT AT ALL COSTS

Sneaky refund policy! Won't use them again.....EVER!

Bought an item, asked the assistant if it didn't fit, could I return it. "Yes no problem" . No mention of the return policy that no cash is given just an exchange or credit note. Went back, snotty young girl made me look like an idiot and said it wasn't the other girls fault I didn't read their sign. Why would I, when she said it was ok. I was told I could exchange, but NO THANKS! I had to accept a credit not which I will be giving to a relative as I would step foot in that store again. Nne of my family will. I have never known a company that won't refund cash/card and working in retail......you have to keep the customer happy. This is just a money making scam making use of trading laws without a second thought for their customers. Beware.
