I felt cheated that I couldn't cancel the option to have my policy posted to me immediately after I'd purchased insurance. It shouldn't be a default setting to have the policy posted to you, this should be a box you have to tick. And when you learn that this costs you more than 3 quid, you should be able to cancel this option.
We were worried that something may happen to us while we were on our honeymoon in America, especially since we are both accident prone; but knowing we were covered by Mutlitrip means we could relax that little bit more and not have to worry about forking out if anything went wrong! A++
So simple and easy to use. I googled travel insurance and got a website that was quoting me sixty euro. However I found multitrip very affordable and easy to use. Whenever I go away I will be using multitrip from now on :)
Having bought this same policy last year and being happy with its details I rebooked a new policy this year with them. I did check around other companies but no one else offered me the same coverage for this price. I did ring to find out dome details and this is the reason I haven't given 5 stars. The person I spoke to although quite nice was difficult to understand. Her accent was quite strong and it makes me not want to ring again. But all told I'm happy with my familys policy.
Always efficient. The automatic renewal is so handy. When my laser card on the automatic renewal did not work they informed me immediately and it was so easy to renew with my new card. We had a claim three years ago and the claim was processed quickly and easily and the money returned to us in a speedy fashion. I always recommend multitrip to friends since then. Also, my baby was added for free.
Quick easy to use and when I compared with other companies multitrip was the cheapest. Also what I noticed from looking around is that some companies offer you 6 days cover for a set amount and the next up is 10 days for a set amount so if your going away for 7 days you had to get 10 days cover. Multitrip let me pick my dates and gave me 8 days cover for a 7 day holiday and I'm guessing this is for incase you are delayed or anything your still covered but it's a nice added extra. Would definitely recommend multitrip and will use it again myself.
My renewal was automatic and efficient - but on the other hand, I couldn't tell where the money was coming from: was it from my current account or credit card. I had to ring to find out. My phone number you had for me was wrong, but I can't change it online. So I had to ring to find out that you can't change it online.
