very poor

I made an order and it was processed on the 6th January and still hav'nt received it and customer service wont give me a straight answer or a reason why it was delayed , very poor service

Terrible customer service

I ordered a Christmas present from Littlewoods.ie in December. There was a 'guarantee' plastered all over the web site that orders placed before a certain date would arrive before Christmas. It is now January 21st and it still hasn't arrived ! This is despite opening up a query online and sending three follow up emails. The generic replies I'm receiving from their 'customer service' don't tell me anything about the order or what's happening with it.

Awfully dissapointing service!!!

Last august I won a competition with Littlewoods . 150 euros credit in my account . I was delighted at first. It took forever to set because they had to set up a cash account instead of a credit one, fine and well I thought I was still delighted to have won. I eventually ordered a Samsung nexus tablet which was roughly 350 and I authorized a payment of approx 200 euro . Somehow Littlewoods managed to charge me the full 350 and after weeks of calls and emails at quite a bit of cost to myself I received an email to say my refund had been issued . Now that should have been the end of it but five months later I have still not received my refund and Littlewoods cannot seem to sort out the problem . I can safely say while polite the service provided is ridiculously poor . I was on to customer service today and I was told that the computer cannot seem to process the refund and was offered a cheque . Then I was told that they couldnt do a cheque and it would be referred on to another department . I cannot understand why if my account was in credit why my payment amount was altered in the first place . I ordered over the phone as instructed by the letter informing me of my win and did not authorize a payment of that amount in any way shape or form.and if my account is still in credit why they can't refund me what I am clearly owed !

Awful user experience should be illegal

Hi have ordered twice from Littlewoods, once last year, and once this year, I will never do so again, prices are far from competitive, was enticed by free delivery, but the system is a joke, you are defaulted into having one of their scam credit up front accounts which really complicates things and charges 39% if you're foolish enough to use it, had a load of hassle with my first order, money taken from my card and then also taken from my credit account, so effectively charged twice, then this time around, pay directly with card, says credit rejected beside my order, yet money has been taken from my account, and I have received no order confirmation after five days. Avoid Littlewoods.

worst ever!

never had to face a problem with the delivery until i ordered smth online by littlewoodsireland...

awaiting for a delivery for over 2 weeks! tracking says the item in Dublin already but the courier has difficulties in finding my address... excuse me??? they were never bothered to contact me themselves...

So i e mailed customer service and their answer was contact the courier yourself, there is a number. I rang the number but it was a wrong one! i had to find out myself that was a phone number of UK courier...

So another e mail to customer service and no reply.... I did a research and contacted Fastway courier in Dublin. They said delivery will be next Tuesday only... I mean what about 4 days delivery??? Plus why customer service never contacted Fastway in Dublin to pass my phone number and directions to my place???

My advice is to stay away from this company... My first and for sure very last one order by littlewoodsireland... never again!

damaged item refund

These people are absolutely ridiculous. I work as a rep in an online shopping company myself and if we treated people the way they treated me and the other reviewers here we'd be out of business. Bought a personalised glass as a present. It arrived completely shattered. Delivery guy said he'd send it back so I assumed that would be it but emailed to be sure. That was 2 weeks ago. Their tracking on their own site says they have received it but because I didn't get some sort of slip from fastway (who I have also had issues with) they refuse to acknowledge this and are making me wait 28 days from when the tracking says it was delivered for it to be credited to my account because they may not have received it yet..... worst customer service ever!! I refuse to pay any more on my account or any interest on the item until they sort it and they threaten me with additional fees!!!! I have never met the like of them! AVOID! !!!!!!

Do not buy from littlewoods

Trust me, simply stay away from this store.

I placed an order to the value of 600 euro, money taken immediately from my bank account.

No email confirmation of the order was received, sent an email asking why was this and was told they will get back to me within 3 days - no response. Sent another email, was told I would receive a reply within 10 working hours - no response.

Sent another email, received a response this time but it did not answer one question in my email. It seemed to imply I was a fraudster or something (Said there was conflicting information so they are unable to meet my request) Whatever that means...

Replied to that and was told my account has been manually closed by littlewoods.

Now trying to figure out what is happening to my money. Completely incompetent company, stay far away. Worst experience ever, nothing but a waste of time.



UPDATE 1 - Received a clone email saying they will get back to me within 3 days again. I don't have high hopes for that. Still no information on why my account was closed or when I will have my money back.

Worst customer service

Please do not use this company they are the worst. Their delivery times is awful and their customer service representatives are very rude and unhelpful. Their website is awful......... the company is awful.

I havent had a pea in 12 days

I have been waiting for a freezer from Littlewoods for 12 days now ! If it were a fridge I would have major problems with three kids in the middle of summer. This company is most probably sending direct to Ireland from a U.K. warehouse.It is slow, very slow.
Another problem is that not having even a warehouse here drains money from the Irish economy without creating any jobs. I'm hoping that my kids will get a job when they are older so I try to support company's that give something back. I don't think that I'll be shopping with Littlewoods again.

The Worst online shopping store in the country from costumer services to managers

BEWARE This is one of the worst experiences i have ever had with a large online store
there costumer services are the worst ever

There is no warning that you cannot use your Laser Maestro card - even though the symbol for Maestro is on the website

You place an order and you are not told as first time customer you have to pay an upfront deposit and when and if they receive the deposit - yes you guessed you have to re place the order !!!!

We placed our order 4 times - we tried to use the credit was told it was granted to only then see on our order that credit was rejected even though on our account we had credit granted of 400 euro - we rang up and after being put on to maybe 4 different people realised we needed to pay a deposit of 44 euro and that a letter was on the way to explain their policy - no such letter arrived .

We then placed the order again as we wanted presents for Christmas and we paid payment direct outside of the credit granted ! - we paid over 300 euro - via our Maestro card - the money left our bank and now they have no record . We rang again a number of times - and rang our bank and our bank said Littlewoods needed to take the money - but Littlewoods said they had no record of our order - the order we had to make nearly 4 times ! Overall stay away - Littlewoods Ireland - is a joke !!!

terrible customer services includes managers, rude and brainless managers

terrible rude employees and managers all department are rude,they just do not listen to your concern and all they want to get off the line quick, i have opened an account with them i tried 1 full day to make transaction online but i could not, then i called them and they took all my bank detail and the transaction going through then the lady who was responsible for my transaction transfer me to her stupid manager and she was so so rude like you are talking to a stone she said your account now being closed and we will not send you your items, just because i used %20 discount code, now i am waiting for my refund.
absolutely nightmare stay away from of these stupid rude people Qaddafi much better than those ruthless brainless people trust me on that.

the managers are very rude brainless i do not know how they got this position, i purchased 2 laptops for €1150 but after transaction completed she canceled my account and transaction what a time waster, i hope the shareholders see this review and start to fire all managers, because it is up to managers to educate employee, but believe it or not, the employees were bit less rude than managers, that was my first time experience with this rip off company and certainly will be the last, if you think there are not bad people out there then search no further and try littlewoodsireland.ie and see the hell for your self.

what ever you do just stay away from this company and will certainly provide information for customers who wants to buy how they use the code to get discount because littlewoods thinks every one is stupid and have to pay full amount that is why they closed my acount and canceled my account, so the war is started just now :)

Delivery is always on time or earlier. Had a problem with a tumble dryer and the helpline for that product was able to sort it for me. It also helped that I was able to access my account to see when I got the dryer!! One never keeps the reciepts! Did alot of christmas shopping last year due to being snowed in and will do the same this year as it was so handy!

littlewoods ok to do business with ,the oly problem i have is i phoned them a while back to say a friend had passed away and she had so much credit on her account could i transfer it to my account to be told i would have to send a death cert to prove the person is deseased ,bad service considering i have been with them for years

Late and incomplete delivery

Ordered wardrobe and was promised delivery within 10 days. Delivery arrived after 19 days and was missing 1 of the 3 boxes. Contacted Littlewoods and was not happy with the excuses or the response. It is now over another 10 days (All of these are working days) later (6 weeks in total) and still haven't received the third box. Not impressed!

Delivery took ages, customer service very unhelpful!

Ordered items for holidays. Supposed to arrive two days before holidays but did not. Got back from holidays and the courier company had sent the items back to littlewoods. trying to get them either sent out to me again or a refund. littlewoods have still to do either.....a month after i first ordered the items!!!

Always love to shop with them.

I've never had any problems with Littlewoods. I returned items very late at one stage due to ill health and got full refund. Always love the clothes and their prices are very good compared to other catologue companies.They deliver so fast and with free delivery costs its even better.

Rubbish Customer Service

October 20th had a damaged unit delivered. Littlewoods replaced this November 5th, but delivery driver wouldn't take damaged unit back. Littlewoods kept charging us for unit plus interest. They finally collected at 7.40am December 23rd. We were still being charged up until now for the unit and Littlewoods are now saying that the unit has been lost but they will credit our account anyway as if we lost it, and saying we should have obtained a parcel receipt. Even though we signed for the collection we weren't offered a receipt. How many delivery men would they have delivering and collecting in the Celbridge are at 7.40am on December 23rd. Now, nobody in customer services wants to talk to us and the lady who wrote to us wont come to the phone. What a shower of unprofessionals. Ray & Susan Curley.
