Horrifying service, will never be using them again!

I have been happily browsing Achicas wonderful product range over the last few months and I decided to place an order as I saw a few items I liked at the same time. Little did I know the drama that would follow! They very quickly debited my money and I waited eagerly following their tracking page, this was pointless their tracking pages doesn't work AT ALL! For a company this size I'm horrified! After waiting 3 weeks without any updates and my items still not showing as even at their warehouse I got in touch and asked to cancel my order. Instead I got an email saying one item had been dispatched for delivery ( checking the fine print you have to cancel the WHOLE order not just remaining items) so now I was stuck waiting. 6 weeks later and my final item was delivered today, with NO warming I got an email from Achica saying it was dispatched to the courier today and would be delivered in 3-4 days, low and behold whilst in a meeting I got called by the courier company this morning to say they've left the parcel over my fence!!! I'm now at work and it's raining... Can't wait to get my final item : ( customer service was worse than useless, if you want good products at good prices in reasonable time frames - shop anywhere but here!!!

Very disappointing.

Very disappointing service. Waited two months to receive my order, paid for 4 cushions as a set, was told they were delivering only 3 of those two months later. When the 3 items were finally delivered only 2 were what I ordered!!! Never again and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Had some amazing items for amazing prices !!

Easy to shop and purchase website - user friendly!! Delivery dates as stated - wide range of products with good descriptive details.
Delivery updates are brilliant with DPD -Making delivery times all so much better as you can alter times dates and delivery addresses very easily to suit.

Worst "online" shopping experince on the Internet.Ever.

Ordered an item, foldable dining room/coffee table, waited for 4 weeks to have it delivered, it came broken, turns out its not really foldable, so i am stuck with a fully extended dining table in the middle of my home, that i cannot close back and send. Already informed Achica via their online form (No phones - definitely the main reason why i will never shop there anymore). They called me back, i explained cleary TWICE i cannot put the broken table back in its original package, they said its ok we will arrange pick up. After waiting for 5 days, pick up came (no phone call to inform me of their time as promised, just a door bell ring at 9am) - turns out these pick up men are not allowed to take any items not in the original packaging. So they left 2 minutes after arriving, saying to speak with Achica... I of course cannot reach Achica by phone, turn to the open ticket online, sending 5 messages needed them to urgently remove the item from the my flat (which weights about 80kg fyi, very poorly made, and if it is priced cheap, well it is cheap). It has been over 30 hours now that nobody has contacted me, and i have no means to return the item, or contact Achica, so i am left to wait for their call, to tell them what i told them a week ago..

Worst online customer service, poor quality "luxury" products, and poor comunication by staff who failed to arrange a suitable pick up after being clearly told in writing and by phone what the issue was. As soon as i get my refund, never shopping there again. I already unsubscribed from the newsletter.

No response to a refund query

I purchased a set of garden pots in January 2014. The delivery was severely delayed. Eventually after 14 weeks the pots arrived. The money was taken on purchase. The pots were very badly damaged. I contacted ACHICA. Delivery was eventually arranged, again delays involved. The pots were collected 20 days ago, 14 working days. I did not receive acknowledgement of receipt of the pots at their depot in Oldham. I contacted ACHiCA 3 times, no response was received. I then contacted them 4 times, again today, asking where my refund of £119 was. I only received 1 response, today, which was automated. I intend raising the issue of poor financial management with the Financial Ombudsman and reporting them to Paypal, if I am not refunded in the next 2 days. An appalling service and poor quality products. The inconvenience alone, waiting days for delivery and collection is unacceptable. I have not been offered compensation of any sort. A 4 month saga.

My favourite website!

Great choices of offers, new things all the time, interesting. My slight reservation is the goods are available much later on. Otherwise love the company. I hope you won't go into fashion!

delivery can be sporadic

generally no complaints, but deliveries can be disjointed when more than one item ordered. i would prefer everything to be delivered at the same time.

Compared to other online stores delivery was very slow.

I purchased a pair of pillows, I could smell them as soon as I removed the packaging, smelt like bad eggs. Left them to air for 2 weeks but the smell although not as bad hasn't gone completely. No wonder they were 70% less than RRP. I guess the old saying is true, you get what you pay for.

Achica do not seem to be interested in the quality of their goods.

I bought 3 sets of furniture knobs / handles last year with the intention of fitting them to chests of drawers after a bedroom was refurbished. Fitted the handles last week, but after using them to open the drawers two or three times, some of the handle fell apart, i.e the knobs came away from the screw holding them onto the drawer, and the decorative coating on them cracked and fell off. I contacted Achica, but was informed that because I had not returned them within 3 weeks of purchase I was not entitled to a refund, my complaint was marked as "resolved". There has been no appreciation that these items should be fit for purpose, they were sold as "furniture knobs", but they are effectively unusable as such. I paid just short of £64 for these items, so it is not as if they were cheap - but even if they were they should still be fit to perform the function they were sold for. I have emailed Achica again, but have as yet received no reply. I am really disappointed at their attitude, they obviously do not value their customers.
I would advise any customer of Achica to give goods received very close scrutiny - some are good, others are rubbish and shouldn't be on sale.
I would also like to see a system on Achica whereby customers can review the items bought, this would help guard against the 'rubbish' items being sold.

I am shocked at such negative reviews.
Cannot believe it is the same company ?
Discovered Achica in March 2013---since then have placed in excess of thirty orders for numerous items.
Amazing company, first class after sales service, excellent customer care, always reply extremely promptly, literally with in a couple of hours. Never had any issues at all.
No contentions ever !
Rate quality of products, ease of ordering, delivery service etc.
On occasion when product arrived damaged the response was first class and dealt with promptly ,efficiently and quickly.
Just a huge fan of this company.
I live in France but delivery costs are excellent.

This company is absolutely dreadful - don't use them!

My wife ordered some bedding from this company in January. Finally received in March. She also ordered two glass lamp tables, a glass console table and an entertainment unit. The two glass tables arrived after about three weeks. The glass on one of the tables was chipped. Achica said they couldn't replace it and offered a £10 reduction. A replacement glass shelf will cost about £30. This issue is still not resolved. The console table and entertainment unit have still not been delivered. Achica say that these items are out of stock and unlikely to be able to deliver. My wife has now gone to visit relatives in Australia for three weeks and despite her informing Achica, they refuse to acknowledge my E Mails or get in contact. There are no phone contact details and so it is impossible to speak to anyone. In my view they are a rogue internet company who take your money as soon as you place an order and then fail to deliver the goods.

ordered Pandora bracelet 21/3/14 the payment was taken straightaway I am still waiting for delivery of bracelet sick of sending emails and not getting any response I would not recommend this company think carefully before giving bank details I am going to report this company

exactly as it should be!

Every part of the transaction went smoothly. I ordered my item,( after I checked I couldn't get it cheaper elsewhere, of course), I was given an expected delivery date.
I was given a confirmed date and time of delivery. It was delivered at that time by a nice young man.

Good plan a few hitches

Impressed by the initial contact and arrangements
The hitch came when the attempted delivery was to the wrong house. Then all plans failed. I tried to contact the courier to request they come back( I was waiting in my house all day). I could only speak to a automated system, i really needed to speak to a person but that was impossible.
Then when i finally gave up & requested a redelivery to my address for 2 days time, it was redelivered the next day ahhhhh!
Eventually received item , in good condition & am very pleased to have it

No telephone help line 2 days to answer emails

Found a great deal on a mirror , long lead time 3 weeks for delivery.
Estimated delivery date came and went no sign of the mirror , couldn't contact Achica by telephone only email , which is against the law not to have a telephone line on an internet company.
After 2 days they reply to emails telling me they would look into it , 2 days more I got tracking details. The Parcel sent by XDP has the wrong depot marked on the shipment so its been going back and forth between the two branches with no hope of ever getting to me - I have asked Achica to get this sorted 5 times now , but replies take 2 days each time. Before you part with your cash have a good long think about using this company.
